GPS Coordinates Converter Lite 5.40

This application enables users to read geographical coordinates in four different formats simultaneously. It provides the following coordinate formats on a single screen:

• DMS - Degrees, minutes, seconds
• DDM - Degrees and decimal minutes
• DD - Decimal degrees
• UTM - Universal Transverse Mercator

In addition to coordinates, the application also displays altitude and GPS accuracy. Altitude is measured using three sources including GPS receiver, Network API, and built-in barometer sensor. This data allows for the presentation of user positions on Google Maps.

The app introduces a new Wear OS application that enables users to save their current location seamlessly without relying on their phone. Later, they can synchronize the data to view their saved locations on a larger screen.

One of the standout features is the ability to capture a photo with overlaid GPS coordinates. Users can also save locations by adding them to their favorites. Within saved locations, users can access saved photos and places, with data history being recorded chronologically.

The S.O.S functionality offers quick transmission of GPS coordinates and Google Maps link via SMS to designated phone number(s) in the settings. Users can customize additional text content to accompany the messages.

On both the main screen and history screen, users can share GPS coordinates with friends through social media profiles, messenger apps, or email.

In the settings section, users can manage various parameters such as GPS data refresh rate interval (with higher frequency impacting battery life), refreshing distance for GPS data, altitude units, accuracy units, speed units, saving photos in the phone's gallery, as well as adjusting text position and color in photos.

The application includes advertisements. To remove ads or enhance accuracy by using more precise GPS receivers like GARMIN GLO or GLO2, users can opt for a subscription. External GPS services offer increased measurement accuracy up to 0.3m.

Application accuracy is contingent on the GPS receiver's sensitivity within the phone. Generally, internal phone GPS modules provide an accuracy within approximately +/- 10m. Sensitivity may vary based on measurement location: measurements might be less accurate indoors or during inclement weather conditions; however, they are typically more accurate outdoors under clear skies.
